Our client is an established LED lighting manufacturer and distributor. Offering over 1,000 products, they are an all-in-one resource for basic to high-end accent lighting. They provide custom lighting solutions for clients in the commercial and hospitality industries.

They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager who will be given a national territory. Interested candidates should have 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development in the lighting industry. The ideal candidate will prospect, grow, and manage B2B clients. You will watch industry trends and identify emerging prospective accounts.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager

  • Manage and grow all B2B accounts
  • Self-manage led generation
  • Creation and maintenance of sales pipelines
  • Develop new accounts
  • Identify potential distributors
  • Follow, analyze, and review industry, market, and sales trends
  • Communicate new products and solutions to key customers
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms

Requirements of the Business Development Manager

  • 3+ years sales or business development experience in the lighting industry 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • B2B lighting sales experience
  • Comfortable with substantial travelling
  • Aggressive to be a self-starter

Compensation for the Business Development Manager:

  • Competitive base salary - $60,000.00 - $90,000.00
  • 1st year expected range: $80,000 - $125,000
