Title Officer – Vancouver, WA

As a Title Officer, you will be reviewing Title Reports and addressing any concerns that arise for Purchase and Sale agreements and lending purposes. As part of an experienced and established team, so you must work well in a team environment. We’re looking for someone motivated with a great attitude and a passion to be a part of a dynamic and successful office. You will be overseen by the Title Officers who review the Title Reports produced.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Title Officer or Examiner
• Ability to work as a critical member within a team environment
• Customer service, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Excellent communication skills via email and phone
• Ideally, a book of business to bring with you

Duties:

• Pull Title Reports produced by the Title Examiners and investigate possible discrepancies and work to resolve them
• Research the history of a property to identify potential problems, claims, or discrepancies that may interrupt a sale
• Examine documents to verify factors such as properties’ legal descriptions, ownership, or restrictions
• Examine individual titles to determine if restrictions will affect titles and limit property use
• Prepare reports that describe any title encumbrances encountered during searching activities
